'Tis the Season to be Jolly and Joyous

to quote a Muppets song from the best movie ever- Muppet Christmas Carol.

I wanted to post something, before the festivities of the long weekend takes over, about gratitude.

"We can lift ourselves, and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues" Thomas S. Monson

It's a bit wordy of quote but a very good quote.

I am grateful
for modern medicine that helped my husband live when he was little so he could be my husband someday.
I am grateful
for family who has been very patient with us as we go through the many changes marriage has brought.
I am grateful
that I have a good job now that pays all our bills and we don't have to live paycheck to paycheck as much anymore.
I am grateful
for the freedom in our country despite what our government does to themselves and us.
I am grateful
for little kids and how honest and funny they are without knowing it
I am grateful
for the little things that happen every day to make me smile- mostly my
dorky husband.

I am just really thankful for all the good friends and family I have and for what they do for me.
Life is just    great

I enjoyed last week on the 17th having the night with my husband on our first anniversary.  I took many pictures of us eating the top of our wedding cake (then carving things out of it cause it was so BIG and FROZEN) that I'll try to post sometime but I just stink at remembering to post pictures.

I'll try to take some pictures in Disneyland on Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
