It's weird to see "Trisha Fullmer" on facebook cause I sometimes think that it's not my account.
But we are now back from the honeymoon for about 9 days. It's been wonderful- I'm sure we're still very much in the honeymoon phase so nothing could possibly go wrong. :)
The wedding day was perfect- other than I made us a half hour late to the temple. Caleb is a VERY fast driver. We got to Bountiful very quickly. Then in the temple, I noticed Caleb didn't have his temple bag. So as the guests are arriving, they see Caleb running AWAY from the temple. Or so it seemed- he booked it to the car to get his temple stuff.
But I am sure people thought he was running away from his wedding! Funny.
Uncle Perry did the sealing. It was wonderful. He had a few words to say from Grandpa Jordan since he is on his mission in Manhattan and couldn't make it. That was unexpected but I loved that he thought to have something written!
I was kind of hoping it would be cloudy or snowy that day (just cause I love that weather) but it turned out a gorgeous day- blue skies, warmer than expected.
Caleb looked so handsome in his tux. I love how metro he can be sometimes. :)
The luncheon was WOW. Caleb sang two different songs- one that mocked that I liked to clean and the other was the song "Forever and Ever Amen." He played the guitar with that second song as well. First time I have really heard him sing- wow! He's so talented.
Then his dad sang a song with Uncle Jeff. Both our dads teased us in little speeches. The mom's were just sweet.
Then the reception was gorgeous- just the way I wanted it! Very outdoorsy feeling, pumpkins and leaves everywhere. Just perfect.
Lisa got us a room at the Anniversary Inn that night. That was so awesome! Rose petals leading to the jetted tub, champagne glasses filled with Hershey Kisses, cheesecake, then breakfast brought to us in the morning. They had cheesy love songs playing when we got in the room too. That was pretty funny.
The next day we left for Palm Springs and got there almost at midnight I think.
Our room had two full beds. We swear the room that was booked was a one bed room but oh, well. We only spent one night in that room cause the tub started leaking into the condo below us. So they moved us into another room.
We went to dinner at Mikado the first day there- sat with two other couples who were HILARIOUS. I'll post pics later of that evening...
Then the next day, Saturday, we went to Disneyland. I'll post pics of that later too. I do have to say- Disneyland decked out for Christmas is GORGEOUS!!!!! Very romantic and just the right spirit to make ya excited for the season.
The next day, Sunday, we just relaxed in the hotel and didn't do much.
Then Monday we decided to drive straight home because of the impending "blizzard" that was supposed to come Tuesday.
It was so nice to come home to my (now our) bed. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a germ-aphobe so it was nice to be in sheets I knew were clean. :)
But it's been wonderful since getting home- fun to come home some nights to him being here, fun to come home and be here when he comes home (dependant upon our schedules of course).
I love Caleb so much and could never ask for a better man! He is so sweet, patient, dorky, and wonderful to me!
you need to change the name of your blog! Congrats1 Looks like a fun honeymoon! :)
